accidental video 。 oo1
[ooc: As a warning, this post contains cannibalism, blood, and all that stuff, though nothing especially descriptive.]
[The feed turns on to reveal a figure, sopping wet. A newcomer—nothing usual in itself. What might be of more interest, however, is the fact that he appears somewhat battered, with the blood running down his face making it clear that he's been injured recently.
Unsurprisingly, he seems rather disoriented as he looks around, taking in his surroundings before wiping away at the blood running over his eyes. An annoyed look passes through his face, and then—
—And then things take a turn for the unusual, as his eyes glow red and he then proceeds to grab the head of the nearest unsuspecting local.
Fortunately, his back is to his feed, his body hiding the local's, so the... gorier details can't be seen, though the blood flying from roughly where the poor person's head should be is likely a good indicator of what's going on. The sounds, at least, should make it even clearer.
Finally, he drops the now quite dead local to the ground with a thud, before turning in the direction of the SFC, his eyes back to their normal blue. The more observant might notice that he no longer seems wounded, his injuries healed.
There is also, rather prominently, far more blood splattered across his face, which he wipes at with his sleeve, leaving behind red smears.
A smirk, before he speaks.]
Well then... I suppose I should figure out where I am.
[And then his expression becomes serious, as he mutters to himself.]
If this is Gastark's doing...

DON'T JUDGE. IT'S A GOOD METAPHOR.
I don't have any other motives, except that I don't want you to catch a cold your first day in Vatheon.
If that makes me a fool, I suppose I can accept that.
[He already is a Fool, after all.]
... UH-HUH.
no subject
No.
That's up to you. But it's not going to change my mind.

So he just blinks placidly.]
Maybe. Anyway, you have time to decide all you want.
Do you have any questions about this place?
no subject
[His answer is calm, though there's an underlying tenseness in it.
... There are people he has to protect, after all—]
So I suppose my first would be how to do just that.
[... As much as he despises asking for help from a human.]

Unfortunately...we're not sure where the exit is yet. There are people searching for it, though. We just haven't found it yet.
Time will stop for you in your home until you go back, though. I know it doesn't help if you have things you have to do, but at least they won't continue without you until you find a way back.
no subject
... Of course, it occurs to him that they may have already been killed while he was unconscious back home, but—damn it.]
... I see. I suppose I'll have to take your word for it, until I find a reason to believe otherwise.
no subject
We know it to be true from people who have returned home and then have been brought back. There's no reason to not believe it's the same for all of us.
[...]
So you don't have to worry. Though I do hope that you return soon so that you can take care of what you need to.
no subject
[He's a bit taken aback at that, though.]
... You're rather confident, to throw those words around without even knowing what is that I need to take care of.
no subject
So I hope you're able to return soon. It's simple, really.
no subject
[He's not, but...]
no subject
I would hope that that is not what is so important to you.
no subject
no subject
I see. It's good to hear that you do have something more important, though.
[It shows you aren't an inhuman monster.]
no subject
no subject
[Than killing humans.]

He just shrugs quietly.]
I didn't know what to expect from you. Now I do.
no subject
And what exactly is that supposed to mean?
no subject
I didn't know what to expect from you. But you've got something important waiting for you back home that is your priority. It's true, I don't know what it is, but...
I don't think it's ever a bad thing to have something important to strive for back home.

It's true, if your ultimate goal was simply to slaughter all humans without giving them a chance...I wouldn't agree with it.
But I don't know the circumstances, or your life. It's not my place to judge whether you're in the right or wrong here.
no subject
—But by this point, his mindset is far too bitter and broken to believe that he could truly be that kind.]
Do you make yourself feel better with that kind of thinking?
no subject
...Make myself feel better? For what?
That's just how I think.
