[ooc: As a warning, this post contains cannibalism, blood, and all that stuff, though nothing especially descriptive.]

[The feed turns on to reveal a figure, sopping wet. A newcomer—nothing usual in itself. What might be of more interest, however, is the fact that he appears somewhat battered, with the blood running down his face making it clear that he's been injured recently.

Unsurprisingly, he seems rather disoriented as he looks around, taking in his surroundings before wiping away at the blood running over his eyes. An annoyed look passes through his face, and then—

—And then things take a turn for the unusual, as his eyes glow red and he then proceeds to grab the head of the nearest unsuspecting local.

Fortunately, his back is to his feed, his body hiding the local's, so the... gorier details can't be seen, though the blood flying from roughly where the poor person's head should be is likely a good indicator of what's going on. The sounds, at least, should make it even clearer.

Finally, he drops the now quite dead local to the ground with a thud, before turning in the direction of the SFC, his eyes back to their normal blue. The more observant might notice that he no longer seems wounded, his injuries healed.

There is also, rather prominently, far more blood splattered across his face, which he wipes at with his sleeve, leaving behind red smears.

A smirk, before he speaks.]

Well then... I suppose I should figure out where I am.

[And then his expression becomes serious, as he mutters to himself.]

He just shrugs quietly.]

[No, he's just interpreting them in a very cynical manner.]

And what exactly is that supposed to mean?

I don't think it's ever a bad thing to have something important to strive for back home.

And again, I ask: what if what I were striving for was something you disagreed with? Would you still think positively of it?

It's true, if your ultimate goal was simply to slaughter all humans without giving them a chance...I wouldn't agree with it.

But I don't know the circumstances, or your life. It's not my place to judge whether you're in the right or wrong here.

[... It's strange, because he's never heard those kinds of words come from a human.

—But by this point, his mindset is far too bitter and broken to believe that he could truly be that kind.]

Do you make yourself feel better with that kind of thinking?

[...? He blinks, clearly not quite getting it.]

...Make myself feel better? For what?

That's just how I think.

And what an ideal way of thinking it is.

[His tone should make it clear that he also thinks it's impossible to constantly maintain.]

Maybe it is. Does it matter if it's idealist or not?

[He can understand it—for as cynical as he might be, he can comprehend why others would be less so—in the same vein that he can't, having built his life on judgments, whether they be his or others' aimed towards him.]

Perhaps. Perhaps not. Either way, those who try to live that way of life will only bring further pain upon themselves in the end.

[...He nods. That's all that's needed. A quiet nod from the boy, hands tucked into his pockets and expression set.]

If that's what's necessary to be able to give someone a chance, then...I accept that.

[He smiles bitterly at that.]

Do you truly expect me to believe that? Humans aren't quite known for being open-minded.

[There's a blink, and then he tilts his head questioningly.]

[He considers this for a moment before shrugging.]

[...'cursed eyes'. Well...no, he doesn't know what it means, but he can piece things together. Whatever it is, it is something Minato can assume brought upon persecution, huh? "Cursed Eyes" is hardly a flattering set of words by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm not familiar with the terms, no. Do you have the God's Eyes, then?

[He really, earnestly just wants to understand.]

[His smirk simply widens, as his eyes turn black with a red cross over each one—before they flash red.]

Isn't it obvious?

[Well okay.]

...I see. Then...people used that as reason to persecute you...?

[At that, they fade back into their normal blue.]

You catch on quickly.

It's a very human thing to be afraid by what is unknown. It doesn't excuse their treatment of you, though.

[He simply shakes his head at that.]

I'm aware it's meaningless coming from just one person--but I am sorry for what my race has put you through.

You would be correct. That kind of thing—it doesn't mean a thing to me. They're merely pretty words that don't change a single thing.

[A sad nod. Well...alright. He accepts that.]

[He's already trying to think of ways. Because he really does believe Tiir deserves an equal chance as everyone else here.]
