[Tiir isn't really one for showing sadness. Rather, he prefers to express any remorse or grief through anger, and so, when the feed turns on, he's quite clearly not pleased.

Well then. To whoever was behind this, I certainly hope that you're satisfied, treating us as your pawns.

[But that's not what he's here for. A moment passes, as the anger fades from his face, and he appears more tired than anything else.]

... I'd like to ask a favour from anyone capable of casting magic.

[Hell, he'll even accept help from humans right now. It's annoying, not being able to simply devour someone, but he needs to play safe for now.

... Especially since, considering recent events, he has no desire to get himself into trouble again anytime soon—or explain things to Guriko.]

*She looked at him, already feeling a little guilty about all of this, and she hadn't done anything yet. And then...she wondered what she'd taste like... Whatever, she'd ask later*

*Selphie took a deep breath and closed her eyes, not wanting to see the effect. She summoned a reasonable amount of energy, and sent a thundara spell, the space around them brightening with lightning*

Ah, how delicious this looks...

[A smirk, and then—

It's not particularly flashy—the absorption that is. As the lightning wraps itself around Tiir, black and white particles flow from it to his body, before it eventually disappears.

The process doesn't take long. Only a couple of seconds, really, before it's done.]

*The moment the spell left her, Selphie screwed her eyes tightly closed. She didn't want to look at what she might have done. But then she opened her eyes and watches the particles disappear*

...are you okay?

[He laughs lightly at that, doing an experimental spin on his feet, with his arms spread out.]

Of course. At the very least, even a human can be good for something like this...

*Selphie puts her fingers to her forehead and frowns for just a moment before blinking slowly. She looks at him and tilts her head a fraction*

Is it...okay? Do you feel better?

[A flash of red from his eyes—]

If I didn't, then this would have been a waste of my time.

So the answer to your question would be yes.

*Selphie shuffles awkwardly, like she's tired of standing*

I won't object if you wish to fire more, but this should be enough for now, yes.

*Alright. Now she just feels plain weird, so Selphie just looks at him for a moment, waiting for...something?*

[And he just looks at her too, before smirking. He then jumps—though with how quick the movement is, it probably looks more like he teleported, as he gracefully lands on the roof of a nearby building.]

Well, unless you have further business with me, that's all I need.

*Selphie blinked at the quick movement, tilting her head to look up at him*

*She shakes her head, knowing that he already said that it wasn't liked he owed her anything. So there was no point in asking, really*

*She didn't want to use the word 'help', or act as though he was doing her a favour*

Don't get arrogant. I have no intention of relying on lowly humans.

[... While he'd prefer magic, he doesn't want to feel obliged to do anything—or to not do anything.]

*Oh Selphie, all furrowed brow and clenched fists. She's pretty mad*

[He just smirks from the roof on which he's standing.]

Because you did me a favour? That doesn't necessarily make you a better person, and the fact you would try to use it like that only further proves how pathetic you humans are.

In the grand scheme of things, it means nothing, and in the face of everything humans have done, it redeems them of nothing.

*Selphie frowned hard and started tugging at her nunchaku*

I just mean - that I'm human - but I'm not all that bad... I'm not better than anyone. I'm the worst... But I... did this for you. So that's good.

*Ah Selphie, so eloquent*

And...I'm only one human. I'm not responsible for everything that all of us have done...

And so, one act from you reflects nothing about your kind.
