[ooc: As a warning, this post contains cannibalism, blood, and all that stuff, though nothing especially descriptive.]
[The feed turns on to reveal a figure, sopping wet. A newcomer—nothing usual in itself. What might be of more interest, however, is the fact that he appears somewhat battered, with the blood running down his face making it clear that he's been injured recently.
Unsurprisingly, he seems rather disoriented as he looks around, taking in his surroundings before wiping away at the blood running over his eyes. An annoyed look passes through his face, and then—
—And then things take a turn for the unusual, as his eyes glow red and he then proceeds to grab the head of the nearest unsuspecting local.
Fortunately, his back is to his feed, his body hiding the local's, so the... gorier details can't be seen, though the blood flying from roughly where the poor person's head should be is likely a good indicator of what's going on. The sounds, at least, should make it even clearer.
Finally, he drops the now quite dead local to the ground with a thud, before turning in the direction of the SFC, his eyes back to their normal blue. The more observant might notice that he no longer seems wounded, his injuries healed.
There is also, rather prominently, far more blood splattered across his face, which he wipes at with his sleeve, leaving behind red smears.
A smirk, before he speaks.]
Well then... I suppose I should figure out where I am.
[And then his expression becomes serious, as he mutters to himself.]
If this is Gastark's doing...

[Red perks up immediately at that, but he shortly feels his shoulders drop again.]
I can't do much at all... That's why, even just a little, I want to do my best.

Though, I'm sure that by now, I've helped others who killed just like you. We're not the only ones who arrived here like this.

There's a pause, before he takes the towel.]
That kind of attitude tends to get one outcast, you do realize.
1 / 2
[Red pauses from all thoughts as he watches the other boy take the towel.
It's funny. Just a moment ago, he was honestly scared. But something about this felt a little warm. Maybe it's that feeling...
It's that nice feeling to know that he helped, even just a little bit. Even if it's just a towel...]
no subject
Really? I don't really notice...
[Because being the way he is? It gave him so many blessed chances to get close to wonderful people. Maybe someday, he and this person can be friends as well.]
no subject
Then you're a fool. Humans don't respond kindly to what's different from their standards.
no subject
I get that a lot...
[His smile gets weaker, but there's still a familiar determination within his eyes.]
But, I don't want to oppose what I really feel. If I am the odd one out, I don't mind.
no subject
[For him, it's always been simple: wrong his people and you're his enemy. He can't really see the middle ground anymore.]
no subject
If I started assuming things blindly, that would be callous all the same.

This is how I really feel. A lot of people laughed at me for it, but I always felt that since we're all in the same situation, maybe we can all help each other.
I'm not asking them to help me if they really don't want to, though... But, if there's something I can do, even if it's just a little thing, I want to do it.
no subject
[Sorry, Red, but Tiir's... stubborn.]
no subject
Um... If you would like to come with me, I can lead you to where you can get dry clothes.
[Red is just as stubborn, it all works out. c:]
no subject
... Well, I suppose that would be the wisest course of action to take.
[While he could likely find clothes on his own, he has no real reason to turn down the offer. It's a trivial enough thing so that it shouldn't matter.]
no subject
[Red gives him an assuring smile for a second, then turns around to lead the way. But he stops at one corner and looks back again, realizing—]
Oh! My name is Red, by the way.
no subject
[Aka stop being so friendly—]
no subject
Sorry...
[Well, it's fine, as long as Tiir has a name to look back on... Maybe not now, but with how everything is here, it would be better to have at least one person to contact.
He turns around again and continues to walk down the street, eventually arriving at the side of a boutique. He gestures to it after they stop.]
Well... Just let them know that you're a newcomer. They'll let you have what you need.
no subject
Then I take it no payment is needed.
no subject
That's right.
[This time, he slides out a brochure from that basket. He shows the cover, displaying the name "Vatheon," clearly printed.]
After that, I'll let you have this, and... this. [He sways his hand with the basket a little.]
This one contains basic information about this place. It also has a map.
no subject
[His smirk takes on a wryer note.]
You're quite the helpful one, aren't you?
[Though seeing as how it was said in his usual smug/nonchalant tone, it might be a bit hard to take as a compliment.]
I suppose I'll have to accept basic information for now.
no subject
[He's been trying so hard, for all too long. And he wasn't alone in that, either.]
Then, please take your time. I'll hold unto them while you change.
no subject
[He can't be stuck here, damn it. He has things he needs to do...
But with that, he enters the boutique.]
no subject
... I think you're a good person.
[It's just a feeling. He says that to himself, really, since Tiir is already inside at this point.
If Tiir just murders people for the hell of it, why didn't he hurt him at all? He was nice enough to word things that he did, instead of pushing him away completely. He wants to find out this person's reasons... There's definitely a story behind it.
At the same time, he doesn't want to push his luck. He didn't want to intrude into anyone's life, too. Maybe Tiir is just scared of being hurt.]
